I was going through some old documents and came across a file mentioning Janet Ann Kramer. It's surprising to me how little follow-up there was on her case directly after her disappearance. Many folks on here talk about how easy it was for runaway cases to be pushed aside back in the ‘70s, and it seems Janet’s got caught in that unfortunate trend. One thing that intrigues me is the connection—or lack thereof—with the two girls from the 1976 Tennessee case. The fact that one of them was found deceased makes me wonder about potential dangers Janet might have faced on her own. If these cases are linked, it might shed some light on Janet's situation, but without solid evidence, it's all speculative at this point. Does anyone know if any DNA databases have been checked for matches in recent years? It’s been a while since 2015 when her case was reopened, and I’m curious if any new technologies or techniques have been applied. Her family deserves some closure after all these years.
