Has anyone else been thinking about the impact this must be having on Daydrian's teammates? It's got to be incredibly difficult for them to process losing a friend and teammate so suddenly and violently. On the field, they likely relied on each other for support and encouragement, and now they're facing this huge loss. I can't imagine how hard it must be to stay focused during games or practices with such a heavy heart. I’ve read that some former players have spoken at the vigils and shared their love for Daydrian. It’s touching to see the soccer community rally together like that, but it also highlights how raw and fresh this pain still is for everyone involved. For those who were close to him, I hope they’re getting the support they need during this time. Soccer is often more than just a game—it's a bond, a shared experience that unites people. For Daydrian’s team, that bond is probably both a source of comfort and a painful reminder of what they've lost.
