Does anyone have more details about the mental health facility John Davis Harris was last seen at in Ypsilanti back in 1973? It's curious that he managed to escape, but there seems to be hardly any info on how it happened or what led up to it. Was the facility known for having security issues, or is there a chance someone might have helped him get away? Given the aliases he used, it makes me wonder if he had a plan or some assistance waiting on the outside. Anything that provides a clearer picture of that time might help us piece things together better. Mystery seems to still surround it after all these years, and it's frustrating with so little to go on.

Does anyone else think it's odd that John Davis Harris had those aliases, Chester Russell and Jack Griffin? I mean, the fact that he used different names might suggest he was trying to hide something or get away from a certain situation before he disappeared. I wonder if he used these names while interacting with people outside the mental health facility or if he had separate lives under each alias. It could be a clue pointing to why he escaped or what he was planning afterward. Just seems like an angle that might need more exploration. Have any old friends or acquaintances ever come forward with info about these aliases?

Did anyone else dig into the aliases that John Davis Harris used? Chester Russell and Jack Griffin seem like pretty unique choices. Could these names have any personal significance, or did he just pick them at random? I know people sometimes choose aliases based on people they've admired or from pop culture references. Maybe looking into these could give more context about who Harris was or who he wanted to be perceived as. It just seems like a bit of a puzzle piece that might have been overlooked. What are everyone's thoughts?
