Did anyone else catch that Ariel Erlij and his friends were in NYC for their 30-year high school reunion? I can’t imagine what it must have felt like for their loved ones back in Argentina, expecting to hear stories about a fun vacation and instead getting news of such an unthinkable tragedy. It's sad to know that they were just trying to celebrate something joyful and ended up in the middle of something so horrific. Erlij seemed to have lived a meaningful life, leaving behind his family and contributing to business and engineering in Rosario. The fact that his remains were cared for in accordance with Jewish customs speaks volumes about the community's support and resilience. My thoughts go out to his family, especially his kids, who must be making sense of this loss years later. I hope they find some comfort in the legacy he left behind and the memories they shared.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking about something that hasn't been discussed much about the attack that claimed the life of Ariel Erlij and his friends. It strikes me how much this senseless act altered the fabric of so many lives, not just those who were directly affected. Imagine being part of that tight-knit group of school friends, reconnecting on the trip of a lifetime, only for it to end in tragedy. Ariel and his friends were simply celebrating a bond that was formed decades ago – it's a reminder to cherish the time we have with the people we care about. I can’t begin to fathom the pain that his family must be going through. Ariel Erlij was more than just a businessman; he was a husband, a father, and clearly a beloved friend. I think about his three sons, now left to pick up the pieces, and I feel an overwhelming sense of empathy for them. They must grow up carrying the burden of losing their dad in such a violent manner. Ariel was taken from them while showing them that maintaining lifelong friendships is important. In times like these, I appreciate how the international community came together, even if in mourning. The show of support from various leaders resonated with me, illustrating that humanity still stands resilient in the face of terror. Anyway, just sharing my thoughts. What are everyone else's perspectives on how communities can come together after such tragedies? Let's keep Ariel and his family in our hearts. Stay safe, everyone.
