I was thinking about Clemente's case today and how incredibly brave his family and friends have been amidst this tragedy. They transformed their grief into something so powerful by raising awareness about gang violence. It's unimaginable what they're going through, yet their call for justice and change in the face of such adversity is inspiring. Also, it's terrifying to think about how Clemente, just a kid walking near his home, got caught up in something this horrifying. It makes me realize how random violence can devastate lives in just a split second. I'm hoping that with continued community support, we can help get closure for Clemente's family and work to prevent this from happening to other kids in the future.
