On July 28, 2008, 16-year-old Clemente Garcia-Benitez was shot and killed in Las Vegas, Nevada. Clemente was walking near his home when he became the victim of a drive-by shooting. According to investigators, the shooting appeared to be gang-related, though there was no indication that Clemente himself was involved in any gang activity.
