Hi everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the community around the Desert Park Apartments where Jai Ray was shot, and it makes me wonder how this has affected the residents there. It's terrifying to think that something so tragic could happen right outside one’s home. I can only imagine the fear and concern that must have gripped the neighbors since that night in December 2008. Being in such close proximity to a violent crime must take a serious emotional toll on everyone living there, not to mention the constant reminder they face every day. Has anyone here had a similar experience where a crime happened so close to home? How did the community respond and cope? I hope that those who may know something will come forward, for Jai’s sake and for everyone in the area who deserves to feel safe where they live. Stay safe, everyone.
