I've been thinking a lot about the state of mind of those who discovered Marianne and Christine's bodies. Can you even imagine the horror? A local man just going about his day, probably expecting nothing more than sand and sea, stumbling upon such a grisly scene. It must have been a shock that stayed with him for the rest of his life. It's so tragic how these moments, though a part of solving the case, can deeply affect bystanders and the broader community. Those poor families, not only dealing with their immense loss but also knowing the details of what happened, must've been a heavy additional burden. I hope that one day, for the sake of everyone involved, this decades-old mystery will finally find resolution.
