I've been following this case for a while and something that's been really bothering me is how the system failed Sawarie Krichindath — and others, too. It's devastating that Robert White was walking free, given his track record. How does someone with a history like his even get the chance to be out and cause more harm? It seems there were major red flags after his manslaughter conviction in 1980, but he still managed to lead a life filled with repeated offenses. This whole situation makes me think about the inadequacies of the parole system and why it allowed a repeat offender to have the opportunity to physically harm more people. We need to be more proactive in preventing people like White from slipping through the cracks. My heart goes out to Donna Williams and her family. They deserved so much better.

Hey everyone, I've been reading about the troubling case of Sawarie Krichindath, and something that I keep circling back to is how this tragedy remained undiscovered for over two weeks. I can't imagine the emotional toll this must have taken on her daughter, Donna, who found her mother. Living with that memory must be incredibly difficult. It's just so painful to think about someone having to make such a horrifying discovery—especially when it’s your own family. Does anyone know if there were any attempts by friends or neighbors to check in during that time? I can't help but wonder if there’s anything that could’ve altered the timeline of events, even if it's just knowing sooner. Keeping Donna and the rest of Sawarie’s family in my thoughts. It's a nightmare I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
