I've been thinking a lot about how the justice system failed Tashanda Bethea and her family. It's such a painful thought to realize that despite a confession, there was no conviction for her murder. Why do some cases like this one slip through the cracks? It just seems so unjust, especially since her tragic death could have been a crucial turning point to stop Wallace earlier. It haunts me to think of the "what ifs" and the lives that might have been saved if more attention had been given to Tashanda's case. My heart goes out to her loved ones who continue to live with this unresolved pain. It's just so important to keep remembering and advocating for justice in cases like these.
