James Charles Stanford, a 16-year-old from Overland, Missouri, was last seen on May 1, 1971. Before his disappearance, James had expressed to his family that he wanted to move to Texas or California to join a convent. He left home and has never been heard from again. At the time of his disappearance, James was 6'3", weighed 125 pounds, and had brown hair and green eyes.
