Has anyone else looked into the timeline of St. Clair and Reese's crime spree leading up to Frank Brady's murder? It seems like such a tragic case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. What really made my heart ache is thinking about how Frank was just stopping for a rest, probably thinking about getting home to his family, and then his life was so cruelly taken. I can't even begin to imagine the fear and horror he must have felt in those final moments.
It's infuriating how these two men seemed to leave a path of destruction across multiple states. How could they stay on the run for so long? I wonder if there were ever any missed opportunities where they could have been captured sooner before things escalated to this point. My thoughts go out to Frank's family, especially his widow, Merle, who showed immense strength throughout the legal battles. She’s a true testament to resilience amidst such a terrible loss. Would love to hear others' thoughts, especially if anyone has been following the case closely over the years.
