Has anyone looked into Tippit's connections in Topeka before he moved to Kansas City? I know he had a lot going on with the aliases and that California court case, but I'm curious if anyone has dug deeper into his time in Topeka. It seems like an important part of the timeline since it was right after the assault and before he disappeared. Maybe there's someone there who knows more about his movements or intentions at the time. I wonder if he stayed in touch with anyone in Topeka who might have noticed changes in his behavior or seemed uneasy about anything. Could be a piece of the puzzle that's been overlooked. Has anyone heard of any local Topeka papers covering his case or any tips coming from that area over the years?
