Michelle's case is one I've been drawn to for a while now, and I can't help but feel for her and everyone who cared about her, even amidst the chaos that surrounded her life. The fact that her death cut so deeply into the community just emphasizes how connected we all are, regardless of circumstances.
Something that’s been bothering me is the lack of forced entry into her apartment. It makes me wonder about the possibilities. Could the killer have been someone she knew? Someone she trusted enough to let in, even briefly? The absence of a recovered murder weapon also nags at me. It’s tough to think that whoever did this managed to slip away so cleanly, especially during a time when other similar killings were happening.
I also can’t shake the feeling that there’s so much more to explore about the possibility of a “copycat” being responsible. It’s hard to believe Leonard Christopher was involved given the timeline. Just because someone’s lifestyle is unconventional, it doesn’t make them any less deserving of justice and understanding.
Hoping that, somehow, new information comes to light that might help her family and friends find some peace. These “coincidences” are just too much for me to ignore.
