I can't stop thinking about the disturbing details around Michael Tan's murder. The fact that his apartment was ransacked points to a possible home invasion gone horribly wrong, but it also raises so many questions. Why would someone target him specifically? Did he see or know something that put him in danger? It's chilling to think that he was potentially eliminated as a witness. My heart goes out to his family and friends who have been left in limbo for all these years, without any answers. It’s utterly baffling that despite the efforts of the FBI and the initiatives taken, like the reward offer, there's still no closure. Each passing day without any resolution must be immensely tough on those who knew him.
Was anyone else struck by the fact that Michael Tan was the only male victim in this tragic series of murders? It really makes me wonder if his murder was purely opportunistic, like a robbery gone wrong, or if there was some other motive at play. The fact that his apartment was ransacked suggests a robbery, but if he had no connections to Pittsburg, it's puzzling why he would be targeted there. It's chilling to think about his family and friends dealing with both the loss and the lack of answers all these years. It’s often mentioned how these crimes are believed to be connected, yet Michael's scenario stands out because of that. I'm hoping that with renewed attention, maybe someone out there recalls a vital piece of information that can finally bring some justice to Michael and the other victims.
