I’ve been reading through Eduardo Portela’s case and can't help but wonder about those two individuals he was last seen with. Does anyone have any credible information on who they might have been or if they've ever been identified? It’s puzzling that nothing solid has come out in all these years. Given that the area around the Mulberry Street bridge isn't exactly secluded, it’s astonishing that there aren’t more detailed accounts or eyewitnesses. I feel like understanding who those people were could be the key to unraveling what happened to Eduardo. If anyone's familiar with Harrisburg from that time, were there any places along that route where people typically gathered or hung out that might not have been mentioned in the initial reports?

It's always struck me as odd that there was so little follow-up on the two individuals who might have been with Eduardo when he disappeared. It seems like such a critical lead that could provide answers or at least some context to his last movements. Does anyone know if law enforcement ever put out a call for information specifically about those individuals? Whether in terms of identifying them or reaching out for statements? Their identities could be crucial in piecing together what actually happened that day. Surely someone knows something about who was hanging around that area back then. It's frustrating how many cases like Eduardo's just seem to languish without these seemingly obvious avenues being more aggressively pursued or publicized. Thoughts?
