I’ve been diving into the Otero family case, and something that keeps resurfacing in discussions is Joseph Otero’s background. It's truly resonating with me how this man's life journey led him from Puerto Rico, to New York, to serving honorably in the Air Force, and finally to settling down in Wichita. He seemed to embody the American dream through his service and dedication to his family. It’s chilling to think about the abrupt and violent end to his story, especially at the hands of someone so malicious as BTK. But what I find especially haunting is how his life was marked by duty and commitment, only for everything to be shattered by such an unexpected horror. He wasn't just a name on a list for Rader's evil ambitions; he was a person with a vast, intertwined existence. Sending so much love and strength to the surviving Otero kids and the broader family. They lost so much, but it’s Joseph's legacy of resilience and love that hopefully provides some strength. His service and life deserve remembering as much as the shocking crime that took him away. Anyone else with me?
