I can't stop thinking about the police work that led to Craig Price's arrest. How difficult must it have been for investigators to handle such a distressing crime scene? Detectives had to sort through the chaos, piece together the grim story, and then trace it back to a 15-year-old suspect. It's really remarkable how they persevered to bring some measure of justice to the Heaton family. The level of detail and forensic evidence they managed to compile, especially in a pre-DNA analysis era, must have demanded intense focus and dedication. I'm grateful they managed to prevent Price from causing further harm, even if the laws at the time couldn't fully account for the brutality of his actions. It must have been incredibly challenging, both professionally and emotionally, for everyone involved in bringing him to justice. Thoughts are with all those affected by this horrific case, especially the surviving family members who had to endure such a devastating loss.
