I've been reading about the James Carter case and can't help but feel so angry at the senseless nature of the crimes committed by the Penn brothers. It's like they had no regard for human life or the devastation they left behind. Thinking about how random and brutal the attacks were is truly unsettling. Carter, and all the victims, were just people going about their lives—then suddenly, they're gone because of these violent acts. One thing that's been on my mind is how incredible it was for that 14-year-old girl to have survived such a horrific ordeal. Not only did she endure unimaginable trauma, but her bravery and strength in identifying Thomas Lee Penn brought about justice for herself and all the victims including James Carter. It's a reminder of the resilience of the human spirit even in the darkest times. I'm sure Carter's family, and the families of all the victims, are still deeply impacted by these events even after all these years. It must be incredibly tough to heal from something like this. My heart goes out to them, and I hope they have found some peace over time.
