I've been following the tragic series of events surrounding Roberto Alfonso's murder and wanted to share my thoughts on the implications of Pardo's "hit list" calendar. It’s deeply unsettling to think that Pardo meticulously documented his heinous acts as if they were scheduled appointments. It makes me wonder about the sheer coldness and lack of empathy one must possess to treat human lives in such a disposable manner. Seeing Alfonso's name listed alongside other victims like it was just another task to check off is horrifying. I can’t imagine the anguish this detail must cause to the families involved, knowing their loved ones were systematically hunted. It’s a disturbing reminder of how disconnected Pardo must have become from the value of life—particularly for a former police officer, someone who once swore to protect the community. While the legal proceedings have been long and complex, it's crucial to remember the individuals like Roberto who lost their lives, beyond just the legal intricacies. Their families continue to endure this nightmare, seeking justice and closure. Sending thoughts of comfort to all of them during what must be an incredibly challenging time.
