Does anyone else find it unsettling how long it took for an arrest to finally happen in George Wilbanks' case? My heart truly goes out to his family, who had to live with so many unanswered questions for over a decade. I can only imagine the relief and mix of emotions they must have felt when Talley was finally charged in 2012. It makes me think about those years when the community lived in fear, never knowing when or if the person responsible would strike again. I'm curious about the connection between Wilbanks and Talley through mutual acquaintances. It seems odd that no specific motive was publicly disclosed, despite hints about financial gain. Could there have been more people involved, or was Talley possibly acting on someone's orders? The links between all those similar cases just can't be a coincidence in my mind. I hope the ongoing investigations help uncover the truth, not just for Wilbanks' family, but for the families of all the victims during that dark time.
