It's been incredibly moving to see some closure finally coming for Donna Reitmeyer's family after all these years. I can't even imagine the pain her family must have endured for over three decades without answers. Dawn McIntosh's statement about her mother finally being able to rest in peace really struck a chord with me. It's a testament to their strength and resilience. Huge kudos to the investigators who never gave up and the technological advancements that made this possible. It just goes to show that progress is being made, and maybe, just maybe, other families waiting for justice can find hope in this resolution. Has anyone else heard about similar cold cases being solved with new DNA tech lately?

I’ve been following this case for a while and can’t imagine the rollercoaster of emotions Donna Reitmeyer's family must have gone through over the years. Today I found myself reflecting on Donna's daughter, Dawn. She must have carried such a heavy burden, not knowing what had happened to her mother for so long. It’s powerful to see how Dawn’s perseverance and the determination of others have finally led to justice for her mom. While this doesn't erase the pain of losing a loved one, knowing who was responsible and seeing him held accountable can be a huge relief. My heart goes out to her and the families of all the other women affected by this case. It’s just incredible that DNA technology has come so far to help solve these cold cases. What a testament to the dedication of those working to bring closure to families after so many years!
