Virginia's role in Bud Rearden's death raises so many questions that it's hard to ignore. That story about his kids being sent away with some money just seems too convenient, doesn’t it? It makes me wonder if she planned that night so no one would be around to witness anything suspicious. And then there's the whole issue with the double dose of painkillers—how could that even happen? There’s something deeply unsettling about how his death was handled, especially with Virginia declining an autopsy. I feel for Bud's family. Losing someone is a tragedy in itself, but having to live with unanswered questions must be incredibly difficult. Has anyone looked into whether the insurance company ever revisited this case after Virginia's later conviction? It just seems like there's more to uncover here, even after all these years.
