In the winter of 2002, 16-year-old Nicole Shalonda Johnson vanished from her home in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Family members last saw her on December 9, 2002. There were subsequent reported sightings of Nicole by friends on December 13, 2002, in two different locations on the city's South Side: once in the vicinity of 87th and Cottage Grove and again near 79th and King Drive.
