Does anyone else find the involvement of Kubica's girlfriend, Caitlynn Bryant, puzzling? From what I've read, she was asleep during the shooting and was later awakened by the gunfire. I keep wondering about her role or perspective in this tragic incident. It must be haunting to wake up to such chaos; I can't imagine what she went through. After Kubica told her, "I'm sorry," it's almost like he tried to soften the emotional blow she was undoubtedly going to endure. I wonder what her thoughts and feelings are now, knowing all this unfolded while she was in the same house. How does someone process that kind of trauma? It's such a sad situation for all involved, and my heart goes out to friends and family who are left grappling with the aftermath.
