Did anyone else hear about the vigil that Ricky Langs’ family is planning? I read that they’re organizing a gathering at the spot where the incident happened on Loop 820. It’s supposed to be a way to honor Ricky's life and bring light to the senseless violence that took him away from his family. I hope it brings some comfort to his loved ones, seeing the community come together like this. I can't even imagine what his daughter, Shelby, is going through. Losing her father so suddenly and in such a tragic way… It’s truly awful. Those daily video chats she mentioned must have been such a wonderful part of her routine, and now they’re an empty void. I hope they find the person responsible soon, for the family’s sake. If anyone’s in the area or knows something, please consider attending the vigil or reaching out to the authorities. This family deserves some peace and justice.
