I’ve been following Patrick McWanza Hewett Jr.’s case closely and can’t stop thinking about what was lost. He was on the verge of starting a new chapter with his God-Brother, trying to create something meaningful and lasting with their landscaping business. It’s gutting to think about the excitement they must have felt, planning and securing contracts, only for it to be shattered in such a senseless way. My heart goes out to Samuel Fields Jr., who not only lost a business partner but also a close friend and brother figure. It makes you realize how fragile life really is. I hope anyone with information finds the courage to come forward and help bring justice for Patrick and his loved ones. They deserve some peace and closure.
