I’ve been following the tragic case of Soloman Taylor, and I can’t help but feel a sense of frustration and sadness about the lack of leads so far. Given the number of shell casings found at the scene, it seems like someone must have seen or heard something out of the ordinary that night. It’s difficult to grasp how violence has escalated to this point, especially when the victim is so young. Soloman was just starting what should have been some of the best years of his life. Additionally, I am concerned about the impact this tragedy has had on the students and staff at Garfield High School. I hope the school’s outreach and resources are helping the students process this unimaginable loss. It’s essential for the entire community to come together and support each other during these times. If anyone has any information, no matter how minor it may seem, please share it with the authorities. Soloman and his family deserve justice.
