It’s just devastating to think about the ripple effects this tragedy has had on the families involved. I was thinking about the role of social media as a flashpoint in this case, especially with the so-called 'troll group' on Instagram. It's alarming how quickly online interactions can spiral into something so violent in the real world. It makes me wonder about social media's responsibility and the need for more stringent monitoring or intervention, especially when kids are involved. My heart truly goes out to Jahid Hombre Black's family, especially those young boys who have to process such a traumatic event at such a formative time in their lives. Keeping them all in my thoughts. I hope more comes to light about how we can prevent these situations from reaching such tragic ends.
