I came across this unfortunate case from September 2015, and my heart goes out to Javier Ortiz-Hernandez’s family and friends. Just thinking about how he was simply working on his car and this tragedy struck is chilling. I wonder if there were any surveillance cameras in the area that might have captured something useful. It's odd that the shooter targeted two people in the Polaris Slingshot but unintentionally caused such a devastating outcome for Javier. It's also strange that there's been so little information released about possible motives or suspects. I'm hoping the police keep pressure on this case. Maybe someone on here knows something or recalls unusual activity in the area that night? Let's keep this conversation going and see if we can help bring some closure.

I've been following the case of Javier Ortiz-Hernandez and something has been really sticking with me. It seems like he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time, trying to do something as routine as working on his car. It's utterly confusing and tragic how quickly a seemingly normal evening can turn into such a tragedy.
What I’m curious about is the dynamics in that parking lot. Has anyone heard or read any details about the usual activity around there? Like, was it common for people to be around working or hanging out at that time of night? I'm wondering if someone just saw an opportunity or if there was anything unusual in the area that could have led to this.
I can't imagine what his family is going through knowing that such an innocent moment ended so violently. I hope more information comes to light soon to bring them some answers and peace.
