Hey everyone, I've been following Riley Jacob Sears' case closely and something has been really bothering me. Why was there a gun present in the first place? These kids were just hanging out playing video games, something so many teenagers do. It's shocking and so sad to think that a night that started so ordinarily could end in such tragedy. I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on Riley's family. It's hard enough for them to lose someone they love, but in such a violent way? It just breaks my soul imagining what they're going through right now. I hope that more light will be shed during the trial about how this situation escalated to the level that it did. Keeping the Sears family in my thoughts.
