Has anyone else looked into the timeline of events leading up to Steven Hedgers' disappearance? I find it strange that his wife was away, and it was so long before anyone realized something was wrong. It's like he vanished right in that window where no one else was around. The fact that he told his mom about witnessing a drug deal makes me wonder if whoever was involved saw an opportunity with his family out of town. It feels too coincidental that he disappears during this period. Do any locals remember what the atmosphere was like in El Dorado around that time? Was there talk around town about these coworkers or unusual activity? It’s so mysterious how quickly someone can disappear and remain missing for decades. Thoughts?
