Steven James Hedgers, a 27-year-old truck driver, was last seen on July 25, 1986, in El Dorado, Kansas. At the time, his wife and daughter were on vacation in Washington state, leaving Steven at home due to work obligations. His wife grew concerned after repeatedly trying to contact him by phone for several days with no response. When he missed work and could not be reached, she reported him missing on July 29.
