As a regular DoorDash driver myself, this case has hit pretty close to home. It's incredibly upsetting to think about how a regular working day could turn into such a tragedy for Shawn Rouse and his family. I can’t stop thinking about how he was just out there trying to provide for his loved ones. His commitment to his family shows in everything I've read about him, from his wife praising his devoted heart to the photos of him with his kids. He was clearly a man who put his family first. I hope those investigating can find some answers soon, and that the community can come together to support his family during such a painful time. Shawn was more than just another name in the news; he was a husband, a father, and someone who should have come home that day. It's stories like these that make me appreciate the time I have with my own loved ones. Sending strength and love to those who knew and loved Shawn during this challenging time.
