I've been following the Duquesne shooting case and can't stop thinking about the implications of using ghost guns. It's deeply concerning how easily these illegal firearms can be assembled and obtained without a trace. In the tragic case of Catherine Lawing and Sean Johnson Jr., it was a 9mm ghost gun recovered from a nearby sewer that played a crucial role. While the investigation seems to be moving forward with Muhammad in custody, I can't help but feel for the families left to grapple with this nightmare. How many more lives have to be shattered before we see meaningful changes in gun laws? My heart goes out to everyone affected. Would love to hear your thoughts on what can be done to prevent such incidents.
I've been following the Duquesne case, and it's been a mix of emotions thinking about what Catherine Lawing's family must be going through right now. One aspect that's really been haunting me is the use of a "ghost gun." It's terrifying to think how easy it seems to be to get a weapon without any trace. These guns are turning up in more cases lately, and it's so unsettling. How do we prevent things like this from being so easily accessible? It's awful to see another family face such loss. My heart goes out to all who knew Catherine and Sean, and I hope justice is served swiftly for them.
