I've been following Maher Salti's case closely, and it's truly unsettling to think about the risks associated with online marketplace dealings. It's such a shame that a simple transaction turned into such a tragedy. I keep thinking about how Maher was just a regular guy trying to make a deal like any of us might do on a weekend. The thought of his family and friends having to navigate life without him now is really difficult to process. It's encouraging to see some police departments stepping up with safe exchange zones—it's a positive step forward to prevent future tragedies. I hope that more awareness will lead to increased safety and less fear for people meeting strangers for marketplace exchanges. Is there any update on whether other individuals might have been involved in this crime? The more eyes on this case, the better the chance that justice will be served. My heart goes out to Maher’s loved ones during this unbelievably tough time.
