I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy must have had on the community, especially in the Cunningham Heights area where everyone is so tightly knit. Ikechukwu Onodu was so young with his whole life ahead of him, and for his life to be cut short like this is devastating. I can't even imagine what his family and friends are going through right now. I've been following updates, and it's unsettling to think the suspects are still out there. The descriptions of the men fleeing the scene—one in a yellow hoodie and the other in black—keep coming to mind. I keep hoping someone who saw something will come forward soon. It's reassuring to know that the NYPD is working hard on this case, but it's so nerve-wracking not knowing why this happened. My thoughts are with Ikechukwu's family and friends today.
