Hey everyone, It's hard to wrap my mind around the senseless tragedy that struck at Young Park. I've been thinking a lot about those who were there and how terrifying it must have been to witness such violence. I read that there were around 40-60 shell casings collected from the scene. It's chilling to think about the extent of the gunfire and potential danger for everyone present. I can't even begin to understand the fear and horror experienced by those involved, especially young people like Jason Gomez and Andrew Madrid who lost their lives far too soon. My heart goes out to Jason's family and friends who have to cope with this unimaginable loss. It's so vital that we have conversations about preventing violence and keeping our public spaces safe, so tragedies like this don't happen again. Sending strength and support to everyone hurting during this difficult time.
