Does anyone else find it haunting how something like this could happen on a regular highway? I drove down Highway 17 a few days before Jeremy Keith was shot, and now I can't stop thinking about the scene unfolding in the exact same spot. It's unsettling to imagine how quickly everything happened and how he ended up being taken to the hospital in someone's car rather than an ambulance. My heart goes out to Jeremy's family and friends. It's just so unfathomable to lose someone so young and with their whole life ahead of them. I hope the investigators are able to piece together what happened and bring some clarity to his loved ones.
