Has anyone else been following the Diego Lopez-Hernandez case? I feel so much for his family and friends right now. I read somewhere that he was quite close to his younger siblings and had dreams of becoming an engineer. It's such a devastating loss when someone so young, with such potential and so many plans for the future, is taken under such tragic circumstances.
I was wondering if anyone has heard any more about whether the police have identified potential witnesses or any additional footage from around the area? I understand a few businesses close to Sunrise Drive have security cameras. Cameras can offer crucial clues, and in a perfect world, one of them might have captured something helpful. It's maddening that there's still no suspect info out there. It's like these crimes stick with you because it all seems so senseless.
Sending strength to everyone who knew Diego. I hope the community can come together and offer the family some solace and eventually, justice.
Has anyone else noticed how quiet the area around Sunrise Drive and Cliff Drive Place is, even during the day? I drove by there a couple of times recently, and it's hard to believe such a devastating event happened in such a seemingly peaceful neighborhood.
