Has anyone else been thinking about the darn timing of everything in this case? I can’t stop wondering why Gary Dillishaw didn't just turn himself in instead of leading everyone on that chase. Considering the emotional trauma Charles Wilkinson’s family is going through, it’s hard to comprehend why anyone would choose to run, knowing it only drags out the pain for everyone involved.
I read that they'd delay Dillishaw’s hearings so Charles’s family could have a say on the bail decision, which is crucial. It shows just how much they're trying to respect the victim’s loved ones in such a tragic situation. But seriously, what goes through someone’s mind making them take off into the desert? Aggravating and confusing.
Hoping for some justice and peace for those who cared for Charles. Anyone have insights on how these types of cases usually go?
I’ve been following the tragic case of Charles Edward Wilkinson, and I find myself thinking a lot about his family and friends. I can’t imagine the pain they're going through right now. The part that really stood out to me was the decision to delay the arraignment so that Wilkinson’s family could express their thoughts regarding the bail decision. That says a lot about how the justice system sometimes tries to give a voice to those who are affected most by senseless acts of violence. However, it must be incredibly difficult for them to face such decisions and attend hearings. I hope they’re receiving a lot of support from loved ones and the community. For those who are local, are there any support efforts in place for his family? I wish them strength and peace during this devastating time.
