I can't stop thinking about the phone call Oluwatosin was on during those tragic last moments. Can you even imagine the horror and helplessness his relative must have felt hearing those words, "Please don't shoot me"? It's unimaginable to be so connected and yet completely powerless to intervene. My thoughts are with them, too, because they carry such a heavy burden from that night. Oluwatosin seemed like such a devoted family man doing everything he could to support his loved ones. Juggling two jobs to provide the best life possible for his wife and young daughter—I can't fathom the void they're experiencing now. I hope the community continues to wrap their arms around his family, offering the support and love they need to navigate these difficult days. It's touching to see people coming together through the GoFundMe, but it also serves as a stark reminder of how senseless this act was.
