I just want to express my deepest condolences to the families affected by this tragic event, especially the Rhodes family. I've been thinking a lot about how crucial community support is during times like these. It's clear that Derrick was beloved by those around him, whether through his work or his passion for basketball and cars. He seemed to have touched many lives. I wonder if there are any neighborhood initiatives or local organizations stepping in to support the families of Derrick and Aminah? Holding community vigils or establishing funds could not only honor their memories but also provide some relief to their loved ones. If anyone is from the Bannister Acres neighborhood, it would be great to hear if there are ways the wider community can contribute or help out, even if from afar. Let’s try to ensure their legacy continues to positively impact others, just as they did in life.
