I can't stop thinking about how Carlos and Luis' families must be feeling right now. It's so devastating to lose two young lives with so much ahead of them. I read somewhere that places like the banquet hall where this happened are typically filled with celebrations and good memories. To have such a tragic event happen there is just unimaginable. I keep wondering how such disputes escalate so quickly into something so tragic. It’s crucial that we understand how these situations evolve so that maybe, just maybe, we can prevent them from happening in the future. I hope that justice is served swiftly, but more importantly, I hope their families can find some peace in knowing the community stands with them in this incredibly difficult time.
