I've been following this case closely and can't stop thinking about the van being found all the way in California. It makes me wonder how Joshua managed to get so far so quickly after such an unspeakable act. Were there people he knew out there, or was he trying to disappear in a city where it's easy to blend in? I can't imagine what Diane and Marc's family are going through, knowing their son was on the run and how frightening it must have been to think he was potentially armed and dangerous. It's devastating to think about what leads someone to this point. I hope the investigation reveals more about his mental state and motivations. My thoughts are with the relatives and friends of Diane and Marc—such a difficult time for all of them.
I can't stop thinking about the neighbors and how they're probably feeling right now. It's got to be incredibly unsettling to know something so horrific happened right next to them. I read somewhere that the neighbors were the ones who requested the welfare check. Imagine the courage it took to make that call, worrying that something could be really wrong. It's such a small community, and things like this just don't happen every day. I hope they're finding ways to support each other and Priscilla and Marc's family during this awful time. Does anyone know if there's been any organized support or gathering for the local community? Would love to hear any updates about how everyone is coping or if there's anything those of us further away can do to help.
