I've been following the case in Calvin, Kentucky, and while the entire situation is distressing, I can't help but feel for the family left to navigate this aftermath. The holidays make the weight of such events even heavier. I keep thinking about the family dynamics at play and how a seemingly small dispute could escalate to this point of no return. I hope that those who were there and witnessed the events firsthand are getting the support they need. The trauma of such a night must be enormous, and I can't imagine how they're processing it all. If anyone hears updates about what might have led to the altercation becoming so volatile, please share. For now, I'm just keeping them all in my thoughts, hoping they find some way to heal.
