I keep thinking about Leslie Yvette Davis and how truly awful this situation is for her family, especially as they were all gathered for Mother’s Day. It’s just so shocking to imagine that such a loving and nurturing occasion turned into something so devastating. I can't imagine the trauma her grandchildren are facing after being so close to the tragedy without even knowing. I’m curious if anyone else in the neighborhood noticed any suspicious activity leading up to that night. Often, small details can make a difference, and since it was Mother’s Day weekend, maybe more people were around and might have seen something that could help. It’s so difficult to wrap my mind around why someone would want to harm such a cherished person in this community. Also, the idea of mistaken identity keeps cropping up in discussions I’ve read. Does anyone think there’s any merit to that possibility, or is it just hopeful thinking because it’s hard to fathom someone targeting Leslie so deliberately? My heart goes out to Leslie’s family—I hope they find the answers and justice they deserve. Please share if you hear anything or can think of angles that could help move the investigation forward.
