I’ve been following the news on Kemoni Pitchford's tragic death, and I can't help but think about how this devastating event affects his family and friends. I can't even imagine the shock and pain that must have rippled through their lives when they heard the news. While it’s comforting to know that the other victim is in fair condition, that doesn't take away from the fact that a young life was cut far too short. What's rattling me is how broad daylight doesn’t seem to deter these acts of violence. It makes you wonder how safe anyone is, even in the middle of the afternoon. I really hope witnesses come forward soon, as every detail matters to bring justice for Kemoni. My thoughts are with everyone who knew him, and I hope they find some peace and support during this incredibly difficult time. It’s also a reminder for us to support organizations and efforts dedicated to making communities safer and preventing more tragedies like this from happening.
