I've been following the tragic case of Bethany Collette, and something that's been on my mind is the hand injury she mentioned to her ex-husband the day before her death. It sounds like such a subtle cry for help, but it makes me wonder about the underlying issues she might have been facing. It's terrifying how signs of distress can easily be overlooked until it's too late. ? It's commendable that Randy and Bethany kept a friendly relationship post-divorce. It couldn't have been easy for Randy to hear her mention those "ongoing problems," and it must be devastating for him now to reflect on those last conversations they shared. I can't help but think of how many others out there might be in similar situations, dealing with domestic issues silently. We need to keep the conversation going about the importance of noticing and acting on signs of distress. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy.
