I keep thinking about the other children who were in that apartment the night Davion was killed. It's hard to imagine the fear and confusion they must have felt, witnessing such a traumatic event. My heart goes out to them as they process what happened to their friend and try to make sense of it all. It's comforting to know that they've been placed into protective custody, but I hope they're receiving the emotional support and counseling they need during this difficult time. Their lives have been forever altered, and I pray that they have a strong network of care around them moving forward. It's devastating for a community to lose a young life like Davion's, and even more so for the young souls who witnessed it firsthand.
